Deaspec Marine Surveying commenced operation in 2020 due to rising demand in the services of Principal Surveyor – Joshua Deacon. The launch of Deaspec Marine Surveying allowed Josh to focus on the requirements of his client’s needs.

While Deaspec Marine Surveying is regularly carrying out survey’s around Docklands, Williamstown, and Geelong due to our mobile service we also travel to most parts of Melbourne and Port Phillip Bay on a weekly basis to service our client’s boating and inspection needs including the inner east such as Brighton, St Kilda and Sandringham down to Safety Beach, Blairgowrie, and Rosebud. This said, we travel all over the state, country and overseas if required.

We pride ourselves in providing comprehensive, unbiased and independent marine surveys and boat inspections. Our most popular marine survey services are pre-purchase surveys, insurance risk surveys, boat inspection, and condition reports and damage surveys.

Although Deaspec Marine have a large network of marine professionals they can tap into, it is of paramount importance that our surveyors are independent and objective in their reporting and unbiased in the recommendations provided.

Our marine surveyors are knowledgable and experienced, you can select our service with confidence knowing they have been vetted and accredited by Australia’s peak association – Australian Institue of Marine Surveyors.

We strive to offer ongoing education and training to our surveyors so they are updated with the industries latest technology and practices through further eduction from industry training via the International Institute of Marine Surveying and Lloyd’s Maritime Academy
